All That’s Fab’s Tini Gives an Update from Haiti
Those that know us, know that we love the fine ladies over at All That’s Fab. They continue to put out dope news and an entertaining spin to celebrity news, events and gossip.
With that said, one of the founders of ATF, Martine, has been out in Haiti for that past few months, teaching.
She’s also been there throughout the devastation that has befallen that beautiful country. Peep some of the things she’s said and witnessed out there, through ATF:
“As many of you may know by now, All That’s Fab’s own Tini is currently living and teaching in Haiti. Fortunately, she is okay, and has been keeping us updated with everything that’s going on via the internet.
Last night, she wrote a letter explaining what is really going on, and urging people to make a donation directly to a LEGIT organization, as there have been a few scams floating around as well. Please read:
As everyone knows, fortunately I’m okay. My aunt and I were able to run outside in the middle of the street during the quake. Fortunately my little cousin was 3 cars ahead of 7 or 8 cars that had rocks collapse on top of them—still no word if those people survived. (pray for them). Communication is starting now in Haiti—and it seems we’ve lost a lot people.
But there are still hundreds buried underneath the rubble and rushed to the nearest hospital (well not really rushed, there’s no transportation–ppl are walking and traveling far distances, i dont know how they are making it). The hospitals are unsanitary with bloody needles on the ground, re-used knives and scissors–it’s just a horrible sight.
As I watched and helped doctors sew limbs back together–the patients had VERY VERY little anesthesia–they could feel everything and it was obvious they were excruciating pain.

As our house in Kenscoff is in very bad condition and we can’t sleep in it–I am currently staying at a friend of a friends house which seems pretty safe.
