The spanish artist Maximo Riera has designed this great piece of art called the Octopus Chair. The chair is part of a larger collection called Animal Chairs. The collection consist of eighteen different chairs with the connection between animal and chair being the main component. Everyday we choose our chairs based on their functionality. This series looks to bring life to the function of the various objects. The chairs purpose is bringing a stronger connection between spectator, chair and object. Let's just say its pretty different than your grandmothers vintage victorian chair that she never let you sit in. Plus this one is a little bit cooler to look at.
